Guest Minister: John Laframboise John Laframboise is a young Canadian revivalist and the Founder of Winds of Healing Ministries. John operates powerfully in healing and the prophetic. Signs and wonders follow him wherever he goes, and he has been witness to God's glory poured out and power bestowed in many nations all over the world. John has trained under and discipled with many Godly men of faith including evangelists/revivalists such as Peter Youngren, Todd Bentley, Charlie Robinson, and Jeremy Nelson. He also served as a missionary in Indonesia. He served as a staff Evangelist with Freshfire Ministries during the Revival Outpouring in Lakeland, Florida. John is currently an itinerant minister based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. John ministered for three nights with many healings taking place. God was present to heal, and many received their miracle! John preached a very timely Word on how to receive healing and impartation!
School of the Anointing Firstly, I want to thank the family of NHCC for believing and supporting me in my pursuit for more of Him! What a blessing and privilege it was to attend the Freshfire USA "School of the Spirit" held at Morningstar Church in Fort Mills, SC. I have always been a supporter of Todd Bentley, and still am to this day. I chose too not believe a matter until I had heard every side, and I am glad I did. Todd Bentley is more prepared and anointed today to fulfill the Call of God on his life than he was before or during the Florida Outpouring. What an awesome Teacher of the Bible he is, with signs and wonders following! I received a NEW MANTLE for Evangelism during a time of impartation during the Thursday night session. I believe this was needed as I am preparing for a ministry trip to Uganda early next year. I also received an impartation for healing as fresh fire came upon my hands during worship. Todd Bentley and Jason Hooper poured out fresh revelation and anointing as they ministered to us in three sessions a day for four days. I was taught so much, but I think what I caught from them was even more important and life impacting! I was challenged to pursue God with an unrelenting hunger for more of Him. I returned with a greater anointing and a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Realm. For the last three Sundays since returning, the Spirit in our Corporate Meetings is greater than we have ever touched before, and there is present a powerful Anointing for impartation and Healing. My personal prayer time has gone off the scale as the Spirit has been soaking and saturating me is amazing ways! What used to be difficult has become a joy and an ease! Thank you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
Huge Angelic Being Seen at NHCC During our worship time on Sunday, July 4th, one of our prophetic intercessors saw a huge angel standing on the stage right behind Pastor Don. She said the angelic being was 10 feet tall with a wing span of almost 12 feet. She saw the angel stretch out his arms and surround and envelope Pastor Don during the worship. Immediately after that, Pastor Don began to move in a strong annointing of prophetic impartation and deliverance! The angelic beings name was, "AWAKENING" !!!!!
Great Awakening Conference- 2010 Pastor Don, Sharon, and Dustin drove over 10 hours to attend the Great Awakening Conference held at Morningstar Ministries in Fort Mills, SC. There was a powerful Spirit of impartation and revelation that was poured out in an beautiful moving of God's Love! Speakers included: Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, Jason Hooper, Todd Bentley, Jeremy Nelson, Robin Mcmillan and Bill Johnson. The messages were powerful and life changing, the worship was amazing, and healings/miracles were manifested in every meeting. In 2005, the Lord spoke to Pastor Don that there was a Third Great Awakening that was coming to the earth, and that it would begin in America. This conference was confirmation that the Word is true and God is beginning to open the hearts of all believers and awaken them to their true purpose and position that they have been created and formed to embrace and walk in! Come HOLY SPIRIT, and pour out FRESH FIRE and PURPOSE!!!!!

Uganda Evangelist ministers at NHCC
Evangelist Emmanuel Pius Ssentongo ministered at NHCC June 27. He delivered a timely prophetic word to the church. The Lord calls us "His Faithful Church", and that "Delay is not denial"! Emmanuel encouraged the church, and shared that the Lord is preparing us for a great moving of His Spirit! Many members received personal prayer and impartation by the Holy Spirit. All were deeply touched, and strengthened through the Word that was preached with boldness! Emmanuel is a Ugandan born Minister of the Gospel. He is the founder and president of Kingdom Ambassadors Ministries. He was called and filled with the Holy Spirit at the early age of 15. For more info visit www.kingdomservice.org.

2010 MISSIONS CONFERENCE
In April, NHCC hosted its first Missions Conference. The guest speaker was Peru missionary Bud Lenz from Cusco, Peru. Bud and his wife Laura, have been serving in Peru for over 12 years now. They have a very unique ministry to the children of Peru. Their ministry is called El Arca.
Bud shared on "Personal Evangelism" Friday night, and "The Father's Love" on Saturday. The Spirit was present in an AWESOME outpouring of God's love for us as His children. Bud also shared about the upcoming building and needs of a new orphanage being established in the jungle near Puerto Maldonado.
The Spirit of giving moved upon the hearts of those present as nearly $1500.00 was raised to support the Children's Home in Peru, $300 of that given by our Kid's church children! One lady in the church hand quilted 12 children's blankets to be donated to the Children's Home in Cusco! NHCC was also able to donate about 30 school books to help with the Christian education of the children at El Arca! PRAISE GOD!!!

Christmas Program 2009
This year, under the direction of Johnna Stewart and Jane Godard, the kids and a few adults presented " The Guest ", narrated by Andy Griffith. The main character named Conrad was played by Dustin Schluter. Solos were performed by Rex Huff, Sharon Schluter, and Brooke Stewart. A powerful duet was sung by Brian Gant, accompanied by Brooke Stewart on guitar. Tim Vincellte performed a Christmas Dance, choreographed by Johnna Stewart. Brittni Motsinger, Bianca Hammond, and Alyssa Harris performed a song named "Jesus Come To Me", written by 10 yr. old Brittni Motsinger.
The program was preceded by a delicious Christmas dinner held in the new Fellowship Hall, and followed up with an Afterglow of desserts, drinks, and fellowship.

Five Salvations and Five Baptisms
NHCC experienced a tremendous outpouring of God's Grace on November 1, 2009. Five people made an open decision to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, followed by five following the Lord in water baptism.
Third Annual Fall Festival
October 31st, 2009
On October 31, New Horizons Community Church will hold it's third annual fall festival. Over 100 people showed up last year and enjoyed the music, games, and food.
Activities planned so far are a hot dog roast, with SMORE'S, chili, hot chocolate and all those goodies, and a Hay Ride. Everyone is Welcome. We are still in the planning stages so watch the web page for more details. Questions? Call the church office at 618 993-1327.

Phase 2 Begins
IT'S REMODELING TIME
The world is saying that we are in a time of recession, but at New Horizons Community Church, we are experiencing a powerful time of progression.
We have begun the second stage of building and restoring the 28,000-square feet of facilities, which is housed on a 10-acre campus. We are building a new front entry way including a beautiful garden, new church offices, nursery, prayer room, restrooms, youth activities room, kitchen, and 5,000-square foot sanctuary.
We believe that 2009 is the year to go beyond where we have been, to stretch forward and go on unto completion of what God has purposed for us to do. We are pressing into God, and pushing forward to see His Kingdom established through the Church. These are truly the best times to be alive and on the earth.

Update on Construction
Construction of the new facilities is finished. We are in the new Sanctuary, the kids are now in their own Kids Church, and the youth are enjoying the new air hockey, pool, and ping pong tables. We are moving unto completion, Praise The Lord!

Senior Airman Scott Schluter is a 22 old NHCC member. He is the second son of Pastor Don and Sharon Schluter. He is safely back in The United States after serving 2 years in Japan including a four-month tour of duty in Iraq. Schluter was deployed to Iraq in November 2008. He is now stationed in South Dakota. He will remain in South Dakota until January 2009 at which time he will be deployed to the middle east for 6 months.
Schluter is currently starting his third year of a six-year term in the United States Air Force. "We are so proud of him" said his mother Sharon Schluter. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts as he serves our coutry.
